Jinhui Group: Successful Hot Test of 200t Four-beam Casting Crane for Green Upgrade

Project
Jinhui Group Green Upgrade
Required Equipment
200-ton Four-Girder Casting Cranes
Milestone
Successful Hot Test
01 / PROJECT BACKGROUND

Project Background

Saicomech recently delivered two sets of 200-ton four-girder casting overhead cranes for the green and intelligent upgrading project of Jinhui Group. The equipment supported the project’s hot test process, which was successfully completed. This project includes a total of eight large-tonnage four-girder casting bridge cranes, all independently designed and manufactured by Saicomech.

This case represents a typical upgrade project in the metallurgical industry, where lifting equipment must not only handle heavy loads, but also support process optimization, intelligent control, and lower-carbon production goals. In such environments, crane performance directly affects the stability and efficiency of the entire production process.

02 / CUSTOMER NEEDS

Customer Needs and Application Scenario

The 200-ton four-girder casting bridge crane in this project is specifically used for lifting fully loaded molten steel ladles during refining operations. This is a highly demanding application because the crane must operate under heavy load, with precise speed control and high reliability.

For this type of metallurgical task, the customer needs a crane that can:

  • move heavy steel ladles safely and accurately,
  • maintain stable and efficient operation,
  • support intelligent process control,
  • and help improve production matching and energy efficiency.

Because refining operations involve hot metal handling and precise process timing, the crane must perform with both strength and control. Any instability or delay can affect production continuity and process quality.

03 / OUR SOLUTION

Our Solution and Product Features

Saicomech supplied independently designed and manufactured 200-ton four-girder casting bridge cranes for this project. Key features include:

  • Precision speed regulation, helping the crane operate smoothly and match refining process requirements
  • Efficient operation, improving lifting and handling performance in demanding metallurgical conditions
  • Monitoring sensor control technology, enabling fault detection and control functions
  • Process optimization compatibility, supporting smarter production coordination
  • Intelligent control, helping the customer improve operation management
  • Low-carbon production support, aligning with green upgrade goals

These features make the crane suitable for high-load refining tasks where safety, timing, and accuracy are all critical. The solution is not only about lifting capacity, but also about helping the customer build a more efficient and intelligent production system.

04 / IMPLEMENTATION AND KEY MILESTONES

Implementation and Key Milestones

The two 200-ton four-girder casting bridge cranes successfully supported the hot test at the project site. The successful hot test confirms that the equipment met the operational requirements of the project and was able to perform reliably in actual production conditions.

The fact that all eight large-tonnage four-girder casting bridge cranes in the project were independently designed and manufactured by Saicomech further demonstrates our ability to handle large-scale metallurgical crane projects with full project control.

05 / FINAL RESULTS

Final Results and Value

This project brought several important benefits to the customer:

  1. Successful hot test support, proving equipment reliability in real conditions
  2. Precise speed control, improving operation quality
  3. Efficient lifting performance, supporting large-tonnage refining work
  4. Fault detection and control functions, improving safety and maintenance responsiveness
  5. Process optimization and low-carbon support, aligning with the customer’s green upgrade strategy

For the customer, this means better production coordination, stronger process stability, and a more intelligent and efficient refining system. For Saicomech, this project highlights our capability in large-tonnage casting crane design, manufacturing, and delivery for green industrial upgrading.

06 / CONCLUSION

Conclusion

The successful hot test of the 200-ton four-girder casting bridge cranes in the Jinhui Group project shows that large-scale metallurgical cranes can play a key role in intelligent and low-carbon industrial transformation. For similar customers in steelmaking and refining, this case provides a practical reference for choosing reliable, efficient, and intelligent crane solutions.
